4160Tuesdays is an indie perfume house based in West London. I ran across mention of a perfume named 'Sunshine and Pancakes' somewhere and I liked that name, and the perfume house name, and happily discovered they are UK-based. The web shop currently has a massive, short-lived sale on, so I thought I would dash off a quick note so that anyone in the UK who might be interested could go look! They have a Taster Set of seven 4ml bottles - either one of their groupings, or you can choose the Pick Your Own option and write in what you want when you check out (this is what I did). Currently, the Taster Set is on sale for £17.50, which is bloody good.

Unfortunately, they only ship within the UK due to postal regulations, but Lucky Scent in the USA and Indiescents in Canada both stock the brand - there is a full list of stockists on the web site. You won't be able to take advantage of this particular sale but you can still get hold of the perfumes.

The perfumer is Sarah McCartney and the style is definitely quirky and fun. They are formulated with a traditional alcohol base but to me, they don't have that 'perfume' smell that so many mainstream ones do. The site has a full description of the inspiration behind each scent and a breakdown of the notes used to create it, which is a godsend for those of us with allergies! It all just seems like a lot of fun.
