Review of BPAL Dragon's Milk
Dragon's Milk
BPAL Notes: A truly fae nectar! Dragon's blood resin and honeyed vanilla.
Last week at the retirement party for ex-boss I discovered a manager from downstairs likes BPAL and she offered me pick of her rejects. Dragon's Milk was the only thing on my wish list. Possibly that should have been a clue.
In the vial: Cherries, sweet smoke, no vanilla.
Wet: Sweet smoke and fruity/floral. The smoke must be the honey vanilla even though I get no vanilla. It reminds me of amber (which to me is ashy acrid destruction like a house burned to the ground) but it's sweet ashy only semi-acrid destruction etc.
Drying: The smoke isn't changing much but the fruity/floral cranked way up into screaming PERFUME territory.
30 minutes: The fruity/floral is worse if that's even possible. Gave up and scrubbed my wrist with detergent and ground coffee beans and now I smell like burnt coffee and cheap floral perfume.
