Review: Aftelier Shiso, and a request for recommendations

I have found a perfume that I really really like! The criteria seems to be that it smells like spices, herbs, wood, and aggressive, aggressive greenness, with minimal musk or floral notes. Does anyone have recommendations for other, similar smells?

Jo Malone has a Limited Edition scent you could try: "Black Cedarwood and Juniper." I know they carry it at Nordstrom.

Also, possibly "Vetyver" by Chantecaille.

Ooh, I like Jo Malone and I know Nordstrom does free samples - I will try that!

I am still not sure about vetiver - I want to like it! It seems to be a journey.

I like Jo Malone, too. I wear the Lime Basil cologne on occasion, with Red Roses layered over it when I am in the mood for something light and floral. I scored about ten samples at the Saks Fifth Avenue in Santa Barbara when I was visiting there a couple of years ago. I wish I could remember where the heck I stashed them...
