(I am seriously tempted to start threads here about a) synaesthetic responses to various scents--- because OMG, DEE; sniffing it on me is the mental equivalent of curling up in an overstuffed leather armchair in front of a roaring fire and that is just the beginning of my description) and b) signature perfumes for given fictional nouns--- persons, places or things that smell like a certain scent to those who choose to comment.)
