BPAL Velvet
Velvet
Sathari reviewed this a couple of weeks ago and it didn't work for her but what she said sounded interesting so I picked it next to test.
BPAL: Sandalwood warmed by cocoa vanilla and a veil of deep myrrh.
Vial: Unsweetened cocoa powder
Wet: Cocoa and pencil shavings
Drying: Cocoa, sandalwood, hint of vanilla. Glorious.
Dry: Cocoa powder, sweet vanilla, sandalwood. And I think the myrrh? Something that makes the blend richer. Not an incense note but a subtle something that might be incense if you took all out the heavy eastern and oriental bits. Must have bottle. Multiple bottles.
Approx 8 hours: At nose to skin distance it's still there.
Edit: Ah ha, now I've tested Nyx which also has Myrrh and the mystery note is the Myrrh.
