While attempting to replicate vintage Shocking, I have technically failed, but discovered something I find increasingly awesome -- Lipstick Rose and Miel de Bois blend really well. The honey isn't drowning absolutely fucking everything else; it's peeling a few layers of infrastructure off Lipstick Rose instead, and making this amazing, big, sweet, still flagrantly artificial but slightly less stylized thing.

But it doesn't have the skank, and skank is what I was in the mood for.
